This is not a parenting blog. And I don’t consider myself to be an expert on children. This blog is more of a portal to the inside of my braincase and while I know my own kids very well and can give you advice on how to handle Archie, Lewis, Tyson and Maki specifically I wouldn’t even call myself an expert on them because they’re human and humans have this crazy ability to change and grow and manipulate and have good days and bad days and all that jazz.
For those reasons I don’t often dish out unsolicited advice on baby management or child-rearing so please don’t assume I’m ‘up me-self’ for offering you these instructional videos. I just want to be of service to others and if these two videos can help even one Dad get his baby to sleep at a noisy party so that he can shimmy on over to the dance floor, where he belongs, then I’ve done my job and I can die a happy man.
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while you’ll know that within the boundaries of my braincase I am an expert in something – dancing. I dance like a Prince and whether other people agree with that or not is irrelevant. But I don’t want my extraordinary skills to put anyone off from using these baby sleeping techniques and so I have only included some very basic dance moves in the instructional videos.
If you’re a real novice I’d recommend perfecting the basic ‘Rhythm Of The Cradle Method’ in the first video. Once you’re efficient at that you can build up to the slightly more complicated moves in video two which I’ve called ‘The Baby Dazzler’.
I really hope this helps.
